Everything I've built.

A working archive. Retail scenography, exhibition installations, oil paintings and studies from the sketchbook. I don't separate the commercial from the personal — they feed each other.

Untitled (Blue).

A face held together by the pressure of the paint around it. Cold palette, wet eyes. One of a series of studies in figures that are falling apart and holding themselves up at the same time.

Möbel Kraft · Showroom · 2024

A sage-and-brass kitchen.

Scene design for a full 35 m² walk-in showroom kitchen. Brushed-brass bowls, matte sage cabinetry, pale-wood worktop, a single palm frond acting as the one living thing in the room. The job is to make a stranger imagine themselves pouring coffee there.

Remember® · Trade booth concept · 2024

Remember bringt Farbe in die Welt.

A trade-booth system for Remember®, a German homegoods brand. The idea was modular — a colour-block façade, a quiet product wall, a lounge corner. Three configurations from the same set of walls, developed in SketchUp and costed for a standard hall install.

Terracotta Figure.

Warm counterpart to the blue. Rust, bone, cream. A face segmented like a Braque still life and then softened back in oil. White contour lines drawn last, like stitches holding the forms together.

Maisons du Monde · Concept · 2024

Find your freedom without leaving home.

A cabana-style pop-up concept for Maisons du Monde — a 2×2 m structure that reads as a small garden retreat inside a large retail hall. Slatted roof, trailing greenery, one rattan chair, one cushion, one stool. Restraint as the whole pitch.

Actona Group · Herzschlag in Glas gefasst · 2023

Heartbeat in glass.

A single product display for Actona Group's glass cabinet — an arched pink backdrop, terrazzo confetti walls, warm lamps inside a dark steel cage. The whole brief was "make us stop." I used one intrusive colour to do it.

Personal · Sketchbook · 2022 — 2023

Altes Skizzenbuch.

Nine months of a graphite practice. Anatomy studies, faces that aren't portraits, dancers with frog heads. The quiet ground floor under everything else — the only place I'm allowed to make bad pictures.

Möbel Kraft · Seasonal dressing · 2023 — 2024

Four tables, four moods.

A running series of table-dressings across the Möbel Kraft calendar — an Alice-in-Wonderland tea scene, an autumnal oak run with amber glass, a Christmas display with felt deer, and a muted sage-greige summer setting. Scenography at the scale of a teacup.

Möbel Kraft · Showroom styling · 2024

Shelving, glass, mustard cabinets.

A retail bay built around two tall mustard vitrines and a neutral open shelf. The shelving gets dressed with ceramics, books and glassware in a rhythm — dense, sparse, dense — so the eye moves through it instead of landing on one hero product.

Personal · Daily studies · 2023

Face, nose, mouth.

Isolated features as their own compositions. Drawn in vignette, so the rest of the paper can breathe. I come back to these when the oil work gets too loud.

Möbel Kraft · Holiday campaign · 2023

Brass, gold, a quiet deer.

A holiday dressing in warm metallics — rattan ornament balls, brass candleholders, an unassuming deer figurine. The rest of the store goes loud at Christmas; this corner was written to feel like a long exhale.

Personal · Study 04 · 2023

Cubist Study (eyes).

A late-night study where all the facial features argue with gravity. Heavy-lidded eyes, a nose climbing a building of shadow. The closest drawing I have to how the inside of my head actually organises itself.
